It is the main artery that carries blood from the heart through the aortic valve and connects with other arteries to deliver oxygenated blood to the brain, liver, intestines, kidney, and all other organs of the body. Aortic diseases can be congenital, genetic, or acquired later in life. If left untreated, Aortic diseases can pose a severe threat to the patient's life.
