RML Hospital launches upgraded operation theatres in Urology department
New Delhi: Assuring that healthcare services are provided at the right time and with quality, the Centre-run Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) hospital has upgraded their minor operation theatres of the urology department, which is now ready to start functioning again.
The hospital where emergency services are available 24 hours, was facing major inconveniences in managing patient load in the urology department for the past few months due to its minor operation theatre being under construction for an upgradation.
There was a delay in surgeries for several patients and they were put on hold until the upgradation was completed. However, the situation has been addressed now and the operation theatre has begun functioning again which will help the hospital to conduct 18 to 20 surgeries a day, reducing the waiting period for surgeries.

The hospital has grown over the years and is currently having about 1532 beds, spread over 30 acres of land. It caters to the population of New Delhi and Central District, apart from patients from other areas and even from outside Delhi.
