TTD Board approves Rs 71 crore annual grant for SVIMS Hospital

Tirumala: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Trust Board has announced an annual financial support of Rs 71 crore to TTD-run Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) Super speciality hospital in Tirupati.
The decision was made during a board meeting held on Tuesday at Annamaiah Bhavan, chaired by TTD Trust Board chairman BR Naidu Executive Officer J Syamala Rao.
Briefing the media after the board meeting held under his chairmanship along with TTD Executive Officer J Syamala Rao at Annamaiah Bhavan here, TTD Trust Board chairman BR Naidu said this was in addition to the current Rs 60 crore financial aid provided to the SVIMS Hospital, which is the flagship of Rayalaseema for providing better medical services to many poor and needy people, reports UNI.
