Two illegal clinics sealed after newborn's death in UP
Shamli: Two private clinics were sealed by the Uttar Pradesh Health Department in Shamli following the death of a newborn baby due to the alleged negligence by an untrained doctor in one of the clinics.
Following the death of the baby, a surprise inspection by the Assistant chief medical officer revealed that the doctor does not have a medical degree.

Mohd Aiyyab, a resident of Bibipur Hatia village went to the Aayat Child Clinic in Kairana to seek treatment for his newborn.
The doctor was reportedly untrained and was unable to deal with the infant's breathing issues, following which the baby was referred to Panipat for specialized medical care.
As per a media report in the Times of India, the doctor gave them an oxygen cylinder tank for a fee of Rs 900. The oxygen supply ran out while they were travelling to the Panipat hospital where the baby was referred for specialised care. The newborn unfortunately passed away.
