Rajgarh: In a shocking video that recently went viral on social media, a cow could be seen walking inside the district hospital in Madhya Pradesh's Rajgarh on Friday. In the video, a cow can be seen walking in the ICU ward of the hospital and eating medical waste from the garbage bins found within the hospital premises.

Despite the presence of a security guard at the hospital throughout the day, no one reportedly came to take the cow away, which was roaming freely. The hospital had also reportedly employed two cow catchers, who were also not present when the incident took place, reports the NDTV

As the video came to light, the hospital administration took action against the staff members.

"I have taken notice of the situation and have taken action against the ward boy and security guard. This incident is from our old COVID ICU ward," said Dr Rajendra Kataria, Civil Surgeon District hospital.

Initially, Prabhuram Chadudhry, Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare of Madhya Pradesh, said that he did not know of any such incident. However, a security guard and two other staff members were terminated from their position after the video went viral.
