HP Cabinet to fill 98 posts of Ayurvedic Medical Officers
Shimla: In a meeting held recently, the State cabinet decided to fill up a backlog of 98 posts of Ayurvedic Medical Officers amongst the Ex-servicemen category in the AYUSH Department on a contract basis.
Out of these, 68 posts will be filled up on direct recruitment basis and the remaining on a batch-wise basis.
The State Cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur thanked the Union Government in general and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in particular for sanctioning Bulk Drug Pharma Park for Himachal Pradesh and expressed hope that this Park would prove a milestone in the development of the State and provide ample employment opportunities to the youth of the State.

Expressing his happiness for allocating the bulk drug park to the state, Thakur said that it was a significant moment for Himachal to receive this project as it would guarantee the retention of pharma formulation units and generate local employment opportunities for many years in the State.
He stated that the main goals of giving Himachal Pradesh and other states access to the bulk drug pharma park are to increase domestic manufacturing, ensure drug security, and lessen the dependence of bulk drugs on China, reports ANI.
