Lucknow: A 50-bed hospital was inaugurated at Chandernagar by Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak on Monday.
Mr Pathak opened several new medical facilities across the state. During his speech, Pathak emphasized the government’s dedication to modernizing hospitals and healthcare services. According to him, a comprehensive variety of medical services, including ENT, general surgery, dentistry, and eye care, would be provided by the new hospital in Chandernagar.

It will enable locals to receive medical care around the clock, removing the need for them to go far for care.
As per a report in Times of India, the Deputy CM stated that the State government is setting up medical colleges in each district to tackle the shortage of doctors, this will help in the goal of strengthening the medical education of the state. She also mentioned that as a result of initiatives to enhance healthcare services, people are becoming more and more interested in government hospitals. The government is providing all kinds of medicines, including free dialysis for kidney patients as well as ensuring the availability of medications. In addition, CT scans are offered, and shortly a few selected hospitals will provide MRI scans as well.

Mr Pathak gave gold medals to Agra, Sambhal, and Shamli for reaching an 85% decrease in TB cases in 2023. In 2022, Jalaun, Pilibhit, and Muzaffarnagarreceived silver medals for a 40% reduction, while Balrampur, Hapur, Unnao, and Sonbhadra received bronze medals for a 20% decrease in cases.
