MoS Dr Bharati Pravin unveils AIIMS Bibinagar newsletter "Med Communique"

Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar recently visited the Bibinagar campus of All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) and released the official newsletter "Med Communique." 
The official newsletter focused on academic achievements, research acumen as well as other collaborations in the Institute.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Bharati highlighted the noble intentions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who envisioned a healthy India with accessible and affordable health care for one and all.

The pandemic strife saw the emergence of a new India, where all our capabilities and efforts collated to deliver world-class health care services, she added. On the occasion, the Minister also inaugurated the newly set digital radiography and ultrasonography labs and participated in the plantation drive at Rainbow park along with the MBBS students of the Institute.
Later along with the officials, she visited the Hospital and observed the progress made and enquired about the unabated OPD services and other facilities provided by the institute. Earlier during the program, AIIMS Executive Director Prof Dr. Vikas Bhatia gave a brief introduction about the Institute's progress in its outreach services, mobile medical units for people in the community, Vaccination coverage, diagnostic setups as well as research accomplishments.
Member of Parliament, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, AIIMS Dean Prof Dr. Nitin John, Deputy Director ( Administration) Col. SP Anantrao, and Medical Superintendent Dr. Kalyani Sridhanlakshmi also participated in the programme. 
Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported that Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya had chaired the seventh meeting of the Mission Steering Group (MSG) of the National Health Mission (NHM).

"Streamlined coordination between Centre and States can bring out the best output in healthcare delivery. The Centre is committed to supporting States through financial and technical resources in efficient and effective implementation of health programmes aimed towards quality healthcare", said Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya.
