After doctors protest, NBE extends last date of application for DNB exams
New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in Medical Sciences has extended the last date of application for DNB/DrNB Final Theory Examination
The last date to apply for DNB/DrNB Final Theory Examination – December 2021 stands extended to 25th November 2021 (till 11:55 PM).
This comes after many Post Graduate (PG) medical students wrote to the NBE to either to declare the current Diplomate of National Board (DNB) test results immediately or extend the last date for submission of applications to appear for the test again in case they fail to clear it.
Earlier the National Board of Examinations had fixed the last date for submission of applications on November 12 to appear for the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) test in December without announcing the results of similar test held on August, thereby, leaving thousands of PG medicos in a fix.
NBE issued a notice on October 23 to conduct DNB final theory exams on December 16, 17, 18 and 19 at various exam centres across the country and asked the interested students to submit applications online on its official website from October 23 to November 12.
