No Bidders: NBE Annuls Tendering Process for Conducting NEET PG, NEET SS, FMGE Exams
New Delhi: Since no bidders participated in the tendering process for the conduct of Computer-based tests such as the NEET-PG, FMGE, or NEET-SS examinations, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has decided to 'Annul' the tendering process altogether.
Issuing a notice in this regard on 12.09.2023, NBE mentioned, "The Competent Authority in the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has decided to ‘Annul’ the Tendering process due to No bidders has participated."
Further, NBE has clarified in the notice that "No queries / Correspondence in this regard shall be entertained."
NBE has under its purview more than 1000 accredited institutions all over the county which are imparting training in 99 subjects, covering both broad (Post MBBS & Post Diploma) and super specialties with more than 7,000 students enrolled for every year for various types of courses.
Every year, NBE holds offline examinations for DNB and FNB courses twice a year. Apart from these, NBE also holds Computer Based Tests such as the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET-PG) examination, NEET Super Speciality, NEET MDS, FMGE screening test, DNB PDCET, FET i.e. Entrance Test for Fellowship, FDST, Medical and Dental Registrations Examinations, NBEMS recruitment tests, Exit Examination for Diploma in Pharmacy etc.
