Sponsored DNB seats: NBE releases Schedule for Round 2; informs on submission of Undertaking, NOC

New Delhi: Through a recent notice, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released the schedule for the 2nd Round of DNB Counseling for admission to Sponsored DNB seats (Post MBBS and Post Diploma- 2020 Admission Session). Further, the counselling authority has informed about the submission of Undertaking and NOC by the applicant candidates.
1. The 2 nd Round of Online Centralized Merit Based counselling for admission to Sponsored DNB seats (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) for 2020 Admission Session shall be conducted by NBE as per the schedule given below:

i. | Registration and filling Options/Choices of available seats. | 4th - 5th September 2020 (Upto 05:00 PM) |
ii. | Processing of Allotment | 6th September 2020 |
iii. | Result of Allotment | 6th September 2020 |
iv. | Payment of the First Year Course Fee | 6th - 9th September 2020 |
v. | Physical Joining at the allotted institute | 6th - 15th September 2020 |
2. The 2nd round shall be the final round and no round of counseling shall be held by NBE thereafter for the sponsored seats. The seat matrix of the Sponsored seats for the 2nd round shall be available on NBE website http://cns.natboard.edu.in/
3. Candidates who could not participate in the 1st Round of counseling due to non- submission of the Undertaking and NOC are required to upload their Undertaking and NOC in the prescribed format (as available on the website) on http://cns.natboard.edu.in/
4. Candidates who had submitted Undertaking and/or NOC that were not in accordance with the prescribed format, or had submitted them after the last date, are required to upload their Undertaking and NOC afresh in the prescribed format (as available on the website) on http://cns.natboard.edu.in/
5. The last date for submission of the Undertaking and NOC as aforesaid is 31.08.2020. All candidates who wish to participate in the 2nd Round of counseling must ensure that their Undertaking and NOC is submitted before the last date i.e. 31.08.2020 failing which they shall ineligible for participating in the 2nd round of counseling.
6. The last date for physical joining for the 1st round is 31/08/2020 and no relaxation shall be given for the same. Candidates who fail to undertake physical joining by 31/08/2020 shall lose their allotted seat and the fee deposited by them shall be forfeited. Candidates who have Freezed their allotted seat in the 1st Round by paying the 1st year course fee shall not be allowed to participate in the 2nd Round of counseling for sponsored seats.
7. Candidates may note that the allotment of seat in the counseling is subject to the candidates being eligible in all respects and verification of their original documents at the time of joining the allotted institute.
