Alkem to Invest Rs 533 Crore in New Formulations Plant in Ujjain, Secures 30-Acre Land

New Delhi: Alkem Laboratories Limited has received an allotment letter dated March 18, 2026, from DMIC Vikram Udyogpuri Limited for allotment of land admeasuring about 30 acres in the Industrial Area, DMIC Vikram Udyogpuri Limited, Phase-2, Ujjain, for setting up a greenfield formulations manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh.

The company, in its disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, informed that its Board of Directors has approved an investment of up to ₹533 crore for the project. The investment will be made in a phased manner.

The proposed facility is intended for formulations manufacturing and will be established in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, as part of the company’s expansion plans.

The company further stated that a copy of the disclosure will be made available on its website in accordance with Regulation 30(8) of the SEBI LODR Regulations.

According to the company disclosure, the allotment of land and the approved investment mark a key development for the company’s manufacturing expansion initiatives
