AIIMS Bhubaneswar Announces 15 Pharmacist Posts on Deputation Basis
Bhubaneswar: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous apex healthcare institute under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India, has announced recruitment for 15 pharmacist posts on a deputation basis. The vacancies comprise Chief Pharmacist, Senior Pharmacist and Pharmacist Grade-I positions under Group B.
Eligible serving employees from government and other specified organisations can apply through the proper channel.
The recruitment comprises one Chief Pharmacist post in Group B at Pay Level 7 under the 7th Central Pay Commission (7th CPC), three Senior Pharmacist posts in Group B at Pay Level 6, and 11 Pharmacist Grade-I posts in Group B at Pay Level 6. The positions are to be filled on a deputation basis.
For the Senior Pharmacist post, candidates should be officers holding analogous posts on a regular basis in Central or State Government hospitals or autonomous healthcare institutions. Alternatively, Pharmacist Grade-I officers having regular service in Pay Level 6 and possessing three to five years of experience in dispensing, inventory maintenance and pharmacy administration can meet the prescribed service requirement.
Candidates for the Senior Pharmacist post should possess a Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy, namely B.Pharm or D.Pharm, from a recognised institute approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). They must also hold valid registration as a Registered Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act. The Senior Pharmacist position carries Pay Level 7 under the 7th CPC.
For Pharmacist Grade-I, applicants should be officers holding analogous posts on a regular basis in government health departments or central medical establishments. The notification also provides eligibility to Pharmacist Grade-II officers having at least five years of regular service in Pay Level 5.
Candidates applying for Pharmacist Grade-I should be registered pharmacists possessing a B.Pharm degree or D.Pharm diploma, along with relevant clinical or hospital pharmacy management experience. The Pharmacist Grade-I post carries Pay Level 6 under the 7th CPC.
The recruitment is intended for eligible serving officers working under the Central Government, State Governments, Autonomous Bodies, Statutory Organisations, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and Research Institutes. Candidates working in these organisations are required to submit their applications through the appropriate official channel.
Candidates are required to download the prescribed deputation advertisement and application proforma from the AIIMS Bhubaneswar recruitment portal. The application form must contain accurate personal, educational and service-history details. Since the recruitment is being conducted on deputation, applications are required to be forwarded through the candidate's parent employer or department, along with the prescribed administrative clearances.
Applicants are required to submit several supporting documents with their applications. These include attested copies of APARs/ACRs for the last five years, Integrity Certificate, Vigilance Clearance Certificate, a statement of Major/Minor Penalties for the last 10 years and Cadre Clearance Certificate from the Controlling Authority. Applications along with the requisite documents are to be sent through Speed Post/Registered Post. AIIMS Bhubaneswar will not be responsible for postal delays, and applications received after the prescribed deadline will not be considered.
The last date for submission of applications is 45 days from the date of publication of the vacancy notice in Employment News. Candidates have been advised to ensure that their applications reach the designated address within the prescribed period.
