Aurobindo Pharma merges Pharmacin BV with Agile Pharma BV

Hyderabad: Aurobindo Pharma Limited has announced the merger of its two wholly owned step-down subsidiaries - Pharmacin B.V. and Agile Pharma B.V. Both the companies are incorporated in the Netherlands. 

Effective July 1, 2025, Pharmacin B.V. has been merged with its holding company, Agile Pharma B.V., to enhance the substantive character of Agile with business activity and also saving regulatory and compliance expenses.

For the financial year ending March 31, 2025, Pharmacin B.V. posted a turnover of Rs 197.9 million, while Agile Pharma B.V. reported a turnover of Rs 66.4 million. 

Both companies are involved in the manufacturing and marketing of pharmaceutical products.

In June, Aurobindo incorporated a new wholly owned subsidiary in the United States through its arm Aurobindo Pharma USA Inc. The newly formed entity, CRESEDEMO PHARMA LLC, was incorporated on June 13, 2025, with the aim of expanding the company’s pharmaceutical products business in the US market.

Earlier, in May, Curateq Biologics Private Limitedanother wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, incorporated a new wholly owned subsidiary in the Netherlands by the name of CuraTeQ Biologics B.V.
