Mumbai: Sun Pharma Laboratories Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sun Pharma, is set to establish a Rs 3,000-crore greenfield formulations manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh.

The company confirmed that the proposal for the investment to set up the facility has been formally approved by the Board of Directors of Sun Pharma Laboratories.

In a separate development, Medical Dialogues team reported last month reported that Sun Pharma has kept its options open on enhancing its manufacturing footprint in the U.S., even as the U.S. administration's 100% tariff on branded and patented medicines has created uncertainty for global drugmakers.
