CISF Invites Applications for Pharmacist, Lab Technician Posts, Registration Starts June 8

New Delhi: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has announced recruitment for Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Paramedical Staff posts for the year 2026. The recruitment drive includes vacancies for Pharmacist, X-Ray Technician, and Lab Technician positions. Interested candidates can apply online starting June 8, 2026.

As per the official notification, the online application process will continue till July 7, 2026. Eligible candidates are required to submit their applications through the official CISF recruitment portal within the stipulated timeline.

The recruitment notification includes vacancies for multiple paramedical categories. Candidates selected for these posts will be appointed under the Level-5 pay matrix as per the 7th Central Pay Commission.

Applicants seeking the Pharmacist post must possess the required pharmacy qualification along with registration under the Pharmacy Act. Candidates applying for X-Ray Technician and Lab Technician posts must also fulfil the prescribed educational and technical qualification criteria mentioned in the notification.

The recruitment process will comprise various stages including a written examination, Physical Standard Test (PST), document verification, skill or aptitude assessment, and medical examination. Final selection will be based on candidates successfully qualifying all stages of the recruitment process.

The notification further stated that age relaxation benefits for reserved category candidates will be applicable as per Government of India norms. Candidates are advised to carefully review the eligibility conditions, application procedure, and selection guidelines before applying.

The application fee has been fixed for candidates belonging to General, OBC, and EWS categories, while certain categories including SC, ST, women candidates, and ex-servicemen have been exempted from fee payment.

The CISF recruitment drive offers an opportunity for candidates from the healthcare and paramedical sector to join one of the country’s central armed police forces in medical support roles.

Times of India reports that the recruitment notification was released for ASI paramedical staff posts including Pharmacist, X-Ray Technician, and Lab Technician categories, with the application process commencing from June 8, 2026.
