Rudrapur Ayurvedic Hospital to appoint yoga trainer, programme manager

Yoga Trainer
Rudrapur: The District Ayurvedic Hospital in Udham Singh Nagar is set to strengthen its services with the recruitment of a yoga trainer and a district programme manager. Interviews for both posts are scheduled to be conducted on Friday.
The office of the Chief Development Officer has been chosen as the venue for the interviews. A selection committee will conduct detailed interviews of eligible applicants at the office. According to officials, all necessary arrangements and preparations for the interview process have been completed to ensure that the recruitment is conducted smoothly, reports Amar Ujala.
The appointment of a yoga trainer is expected to give a boost to yoga-related activities at the hospital. The trainer will help organise and support regular yoga sessions, health awareness activities and wellness-based initiatives. This is expected to benefit patients seeking Ayurvedic and holistic care, especially those looking for preventive health support through yoga and lifestyle-based practices.

Meanwhile, the district programme manager will play a key role in improving the functioning of the hospital, who will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of various hospital schemes, programmes and projects. The role will also involve coordination, monitoring and administrative support, helping ensure that hospital activities are carried out in an organised and efficient manner.
District Ayurvedic and Unani Officer Dr Alok Shukla said the recruitment process for the yoga trainer and district programme manager has already begun. He added that the appointments will be made in a transparent manner.
The proposed appointments are part of efforts to improve patient-oriented services and strengthen the functioning of the District Ayurvedic Hospital. Once the posts are filled, the hospital is expected to receive better support for both yoga-based activities and programme-level management. The move also comes ahead of planned yoga activities in the district before Yoga Day, aimed at increasing awareness about yoga, health and wellness among the local population.
