New Delhi: Mankind Pharma has appointed Nilesh Kulkarni as the Head of Human Resource Functions for the Mankind Pharma Group as part of a strategic realignment of its human resources leadership framework undertaken through an internal organisational restructuring exercise.

The appointment was approved by the company's Board of Directors through a resolution passed by circulation on June 8, 2026.

Following the restructuring, Kulkarni has also been designated as a Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of the company with immediate effect. Concurrently, Prateek Dubey has transitioned to new roles and responsibilities within the organisation and has ceased to be a Senior Management Personnel effective June 8, 2026.

Mankind Pharma said the changes are aimed at strengthening its leadership structure and aligning the human resources function with the company's evolving business priorities. Kulkarni will now lead the HR functions across the group and oversee initiatives related to talent management, organisational development and workforce transformation.

Kulkarni brings more than 25 years of experience in human resources and has extensive expertise in driving organisational transformation and building high-performance cultures within the pharmaceutical sector. Over the course of his career, he has led multi-country mergers and acquisitions integrations, learning and development architecture, succession planning, talent management and complex organisation design initiatives across India and international markets.

Prior to taking on the new role, Kulkarni spent over six years as Chief Human Resources Officer at Bharat Serums and Vaccines Ltd. (BSV), a material wholly owned subsidiary of Mankind Pharma. The company noted that he played a significant role in building BSV into a people- and science-driven organisation while fostering inclusive and high-performance work cultures. Before joining BSV, he held leadership positions at Novo Nordisk, Roche, Novartis and Sanofi.

According to Mankind Pharma's regulatory filing, the appointment forms part of an internal organisational restructuring initiative designed to strengthen the group's human resources leadership framework.

The company clarified that Kulkarni's appointment will be governed by its standard employment policies and service rules. It also stated that he does not have any relationship with the directors of the company.
