NPPA Revises IV Fluid Price Orders, Adds Silica Healthcare's Euro Head Dual Port
New Delhi: The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has issued two addenda revising its existing ceiling price orders for Ringer Lactate and other scheduled IV fluids supplied in non-glass packages with special features.
The notifications added Silica Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. and its Euro Head/Euro Head Dual Port product to the relevant orders and fixed the ceiling price of Mannitol Injection 20% in a 300 ml pack at Rs 0.41 per ml, effective from April 1, 2026.
Through S.O. 4776(E), dated August 27, 2026, the NPPA stated that its Orders No. 1584(E), dated March 25, 2026; 2682(E), dated May 27, 2026; and 3714(E), dated July 8, 2026, relating to the ceiling price fixation of scheduled formulation packs of Ringer Lactate in non-glass packages with special features, shall henceforth be read with the following addition:

The notification has also inserted Clause (e2) after Clause (e1). It states that in the case of M/s Silica Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., mentioned at Serial No. 32 of Table ‘B’, only the price of the formulation specified at Serial No. 3 of Table ‘A’ shall be applicable.
In a separate addendum issued through S.O. 4777(E), dated August 27, 2026, the NPPA stated that its Order No. 1586(E), dated March 25, 2026, relating to the ceiling price fixation of scheduled formulation packs of IV fluids in non-glass packages with special features, shall henceforth be read with the following additions:

Further, Clause (g1) has been inserted after Clause (g). It specifies that in the case of M/s Silica Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., mentioned at Serial No. 14 of Table ‘B’, only the prices of the formulations specified at Serial Nos. 1, 2, 6 and 7 of Table ‘A’ shall be applicable.
