Bhubaneswar: Bayer launched an oxygen plant with 500 LPM capacity at Rairakhol Sub Divisional Hospital in Sambalpur district on Friday as part of its CSR initiative to strengthen healthcare facilities in the area.
The plant has been set up with a capacity to supply up to 100 beds in the hospital and aims to fulfill the critical need for medical-grade oxygen in a hospital. The pressure swing absorption (PSA) Oxygen plant will generate, supply and store 93-95 percent Pure Medical Oxygen for about 100 Oxygenated Beds. This will allow the hospital to also run coronary care units (CCU), intensive care units (ICU) and Operation Theatres (OT) in the future.
