Bangalore: As part of its enduring commitment to advancing healthcare with technology innovation in India, Siemens Healthineers has announced strategic partnerships with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), HealthCare Global Enterprises Ltd (HCG), and Narayana Health (NH).
"These partnerships are big steps in making India an innovation center for Siemens Healthineers globally. The company continues to build on its committed investment of INR 1,300 crores (€160 million) to establish a new campus housing research and development, manufacturing, and sales, and an innovation center," the release stated.
"India is a strategic market for Siemens Healthineers and it plays an important role in global innovation and technology expansion to achieve the future of healthcare," says Peter Schardt, chief technology officer, Siemens Healthineers. "The partnerships will build on our focus towards fighting the mostthreatening diseases, enabling efficient operations, and expanding access to patient care. Through these collaborations, we strive to make healthcare even more efficient, sustainable, and humane for everyone across the country."
