Sun Pharma promotes Bhaskar Dharival as General Manager and Head HR and Administration

Mumbai: Sun Pharma has promoted Bhaskar Dharival as its new General Manager and Head HR and Administration.

Bhaskar Dhariwal shared the news of his appointment in a recent LinkedIn post, stating, "I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as General Manager & Head HR & Administration at SUN PHARMA."

With over 19 years of experience in Human Resources and Industrial Relations, Bhaskar Dharival joined Sun Pharma in 2021 as Deputy General Manager and Head – HR & Administration. In this role, he was heading the HR Function of Two most critical regulatory plants, OSD and Injectable, consisting the manpower of 4000 numbers.

He holds post graduate degree in Social Work with Specialization in Human Resource Management from Udaipur School of Social work, Udaipur.

Dhariwal began his professional journey in 2005 with Birla White, a unit of the Aditya Birla Group in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Over the years, he has held key roles at several prominent organizations, including Welspun Group, Reliance, Essar, Mahindra Logistics, and Hero MotoCorp Ltd.

His achievements have earned him several prestigious accolades. In 2000, he was honored by the President of India, Shri K. R. Narayanan. In 2016, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) – Telangana recognized him with the "Rising Star of HR" award. Additionally, he received the "Star Fish" award for showing Seamless approach in achieving critical Projects within the timelines.

Sun Pharma is an Indian multinational pharmaceutical company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The company manufactures and markets a large basket of pharmaceutical formulations covering a broad spectrum of chronic and acute therapies. It includes generics, branded generics, specialty, complex or difficult-to-make technology-intensive products, over-the-counter (OTC), antiretrovirals (ARVs), Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), and Intermediates.
