Torrent Pharma ropes in Aman Mehta as Director on its board

New Delhi: Torrent Pharma on Friday said it has appointed Aman Mehta as Director on the company's board. Mehta, son of Torrent Pharma Chairman Samir Mehta, will take up the position with effect from August 1, 2022.

Aman Mehta is a Bachelor of Economics from Boston University, Boston and an MBA from Columbia University, New York.

During his tenure with Torrent, he has worked in both Power and Pharma sectors.

Prior to his elevation as Director, he was Executive Director at Torrent Pharma, heading the India Business along with Corporate HR. Further, he has led several organic growth initiatives that have started delivering market share expansion, with a focus on new product launches and market expansion. Aman is a key contributor in the evaluation of acquisition opportunities and driving the strategic direction of the India business.

He also serves as Director on the Board of Torrent Investments Private Limited and Saat Rasta Properties Private Limited.

Torrent Pharma is an Indian multinational pharmaceutical company headquartered in Ahmedabad, India. The company specializes in therapeutic segment of cardiovascular (CV), central nervous system (CNS), gastro-intestinal (GI) and women healthcare (WHC).
