Unichem Labs Goa facility gets VAI status from USFDA

Mumbai: Unichem Labs has announced that the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has classified the inspection  of Company’s Goa formulation facility situated at Pilerne, Bardez as Voluntary Action indicated (“VAI”).

Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported that the Company had received five observations from the USFDA for the inspection conducted from 8th July 2024 to 15th July 2024.

Headquartered in Mumbai, Unichem Laboratories Limited is an international, integrated, specialty pharmaceutical company. The company was founded in 1944 by Padmabhushan Late Mr. Amrut V Mody. It manufactures and markets a large basket of pharmaceutical formulations as branded generics as well as generics in several markets across the world.
