Wockhardt Bio incorporates new wholly owned subsidiary in Ireland

Mumbai: Wockhardt has announced that Wockhardt Bio AG, a subsidiary of the Company, has incorporated a new wholly owned subsidiary in Ireland by the name Wockhardt Antibiotics (Ireland) Limited.
Consequent to the incorporation, Wockhardt Antibiotics (Ireland) Limited has become a Step-Down Subsidiary of the Company.
Objects of Wockhardt Antibiotics (Ireland) Limited are in line with the main objects of the Company and the new entity will help to channelize the Company’s antibiotic products across European Union.

Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported that a 15-year-old US patient with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a type of blood and bone marrow cancer, had been successfully cured of a severe, drug-resistant infection following treatment with Zaynich (Zidebactam/Cefepime, WCK 5222) under compassionate use.
