560 Pharmacist Jobs Announced in Uttar Pradesh, Apply from March 9
Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has issued the official notification for UPSSSC Pharmacist Recruitment 2026, announcing a total of 560 Pharmacist (Bheshajik) vacancies under the Directorate of Medical and Health Services, Uttar Pradesh.
As per the notification released on February 28, 2026, the online application process will commence from March 9, 2026. Interested candidates can submit their applications until March 29, 2026, while the last date for making corrections in submitted forms has been fixed as April 5, 2026.
Applicants must have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET)-2025 conducted by UPSSSC and should possess a valid PET-2025 scorecard. Only candidates securing non-zero or positive normalized PET scores will be eligible to participate in the recruitment process.
In terms of educational qualifications, candidates are required to hold a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised institution and must be registered with the State Pharmacy Council, Uttar Pradesh. The prescribed age limit is 18 to 40 years, with relaxation in the upper age limit applicable to reserved categories as per Uttar Pradesh government norms.
The selection process will involve shortlisting candidates based on PET-2025 scores, followed by a Main Written Examination for eligible applicants. The recruitment drive aims to strengthen pharmaceutical services across government healthcare facilities in the state.
Selected candidates will be placed under Level-5 pay scale, drawing a salary in the range of ₹5,200 to ₹20,200 per month, along with a grade pay of ₹2,800 and other admissible allowances.
