UPSSSC Begins Recruitment for 560 Pharmacist Posts, Applications Open Till March 29
Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has started the online registration process for Pharmacist Recruitment 2026 from March 9, 2026. Interested candidates can apply through the official website, upsssc.gov.in, as the commission initiates the recruitment process to fill pharmacist positions in the state.
The recruitment drive aims to fill 560 pharmacist posts under the Directorate of Medical and Health Services, Uttar Pradesh. The category-wise distribution of vacancies includes 224 posts for Unreserved (UR), 118 for Scheduled Caste (SC), 151 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 56 for Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and 11 for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates. The last date to submit the application form is March 29, 2026, and applicants must fall within the age limit of 18 to 40 years.
As per the notification, the pay scale for the post ranges from ₹5,200 to ₹20,200 with a grade pay of ₹2,800. Candidates applying for the position must hold a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised university or institute, be registered with the State Pharmacy Council of Uttar Pradesh, and must also possess a valid scorecard of the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 conducted by UPSSSC.
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can complete the application process online by visiting the official UPSSSC website. Candidates are required to register on the portal, fill out the application form, upload the necessary documents, and submit the form within the stipulated deadline.
