It is reported that in a meeting of the State Supervisory board that was held in October last year under the chairmanship of the Health Minister, Delhi, the analysis of reports submitted by the IVF centres to the State Appropriate Authority revealed that the centres were not submitting/ submitting incomplete records with respect to the outcomes/delivery status (Male/Female) of all the IVF procedures.

Following the same, the authorities have specifically directed the said centres to maintain to the complete records and submit the same the same along with the monthly reports, by the 5th of every month

Speaking to Medical Dialogues Team, Dr Sajyajit Kumar, Delhi state programme officer, PC-PNDT said, " We observed that no/incomplete records were being submitted by many IVF centres in Delhi. We have therefore written to the centres asking them to maintain complete records in regards to the outcomes (Male/Female) of all the IVF procedures and submit the same along with the monthly reports, which are already being submitted to the State by the 5th of every month, failing which necessary action shall be initiated by the authorities against the said center."
