Govt Suspends Two Doctors for Medical Negligence
Jodhpur: Two months after a third-year MBBS student from AIIMS Jodhpur was caught appearing as a proxy at the NEET-UG 2024 examination, the institute administration recently suspended the accused student who has not attended classes and has been missing since May 2.
The AIIMS administration has stated that the accused student did not attend a recent examination held at the institute and they officially confirmed his suspension after receiving information from the police.
Speaking to TOI, the administration said "We received information from Bihar police about him, following which we suspended him. The police have urged us to share any information with them concerning the student."
Medica Dialogue team earlier reported that a third-year student from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)-Jodhpur was caught during biometric attendance at the examination centre in DAV School, Malighat, Bihar, minutes before the NEET-UG test on May 5 for allegedly appearing in place of a NEET aspirant. The examinee's admit card featured a picture of the third-year MBBS student.
