Though the doctor did not file an FIR against her, the Association of Resident Doctors has demanded a formal apology.
Dr Rahul, president of the Association of Resident Doctors, PGI stated that the incident took place in the Emergency and ARD staged agitation demanding deployment of staff. After this, Prof Jain, HOD IM promised that he would appoint more JRs and SRs in an emergency and keeping his words the department held interviews to fill 5 vacant posts in the department.
