DME Chhattisgarh begins counselling for MBBS bond service posting 2026, details

Chhattisgarh: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chhattisgarh, has issued a notification announcing the online counselling process for bond service posting of MBBS graduates from government medical colleges in the state this year.

The notice outlines the schedule for online registration, merit list publication, and objection submission for candidates required to serve under the mandatory government bond.

As per the detailed timeline provided in the notice, the online registration will commence today,, i.e., 3 April 2026. Following this, the final merit list will be declared on 13 April 2026. Below is the detailed schedule-

According to the notice, all MBBS graduates who have completed their course from government medical colleges in Chhattisgarh in 2026 and are bound by service conditions must compulsorily participate in this counselling process.

The posting of candidates will be carried out purely on a merit basis against vacant positions in government health institutions across the state. 

The registration and merit generation process will be conducted through the NIC platform.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

1 The merit list will be prepared only for candidates who participate in the counselling process. If a candidate does not participate in online counselling, they will be excluded from the entire counselling process. The bond posting process will be conducted only through online counselling, so participation is mandatory. If a candidate does not participate in the counselling process, all obligations related to the bond, including payment of the prescribed bond amount, will be the candidate's own responsibility.

2 The merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained by the candidates in MBBS.

3 In case of a tie, the final year marks will be given preference, followed by senior age.

4 Claims and objections can be filed within the stipulated time limit at Chhattisgarh State Counselling Cell, Room No. 503, Pt. JNM Medical College, Raipur.

5 Information regarding Choice Filling and allotment will be provided separately on the departmental website.
