Delhi: AIIMS doctor files complaint against cybercrime
New Delhi: Drawing attention towards a major concern, an All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) doctor has recently lodged a complaint with the cyber cell of Delhi Police, about misleading news of treatment of Corona epidemic by putting her photo without her permission.
The deceptive piece of news article bearing the picture of Dr Uma Kumar, head of Department of Rheumatology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences claims to treat COVID-19. However, the Rheumatologist's picture and details were used without her knowledge or seeking her permission before circulating the article in public domain.
Confirmation to this effect was given by Dr Kumar, who tweeted;
