ACPPGMEC issues notice on extended Online 2nd Round Counselling

Ahmedabad: Through recent notices, the Admission Committee for Professional Post-Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC) has informed about the extended online counselling for round 2 session.

In view of ongoing COVID-19 outbreak and in compliance with the advisory issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and instructions from Government of Gujarat, ACPPGMEC is going to organize Extended 2nd Online Round for Admission in Medical and Dental PG Courses for this academic year (2020-21) only.

For all the candidates included in the Merit List of ACPPGMEC as well as who applied and became eligible for MDS courses after revised/reduced NEET-MDS2020 cut-off and eligible for admission of Government Seats, Management Seats and NRI Seats of Medical and Dental Post-Graduate Courses in Government and Self-Financed Medical and Dental Colleges for the academic year 2020-21, schedule for Extended 2nd online round of choice filling, allotment and reporting is as follows:

Procedure for Admission Cancellation

• The candidates, who have confirmed their admission after submitting the original documents at the Help Center, want to cancel the admission, they have to go to the admission reported Help Center, in-person.

• The admission can be cancelled till 4.00 pm on 14.07.2020.

• The same seat will not be available to such candidate for the subsequent round of admission but candidates can take part in a subsequent round of counseling.

• If a candidate cannot come for some reason, the parents/representatives must bring the "Authority Letter" signed by the candidate to Help Center. Without Authority Letter, parents/ representatives won't be able to collect the documents. Authority letter is available on page 2 of this document.

• The candidates have to submit the following documents and then can collect the original documents.

o Original admission order of ACPPGMEC

o Self-attested Xerox-copy of Allotment Letter of All India Quota/ Deemed/ Central Universities / DNB/ Other State Counseling OR application of cancellation if not admitted anywhere

o Authority letter (In case parents/representatives want to collect the documents)

Important instructions for extended 2nd online round

1. In view of ongoing COVID- 19 outbreak and in compliance with the advisory issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and instructions from Government of Gujarat, ACPPGMEC is going to organize Extended 2nd Online Round for Admission in Medical and Dental PG Courses for this academic year (2020-21) only.

2. All the candidates who are included in the Merit-list of ACPPGMEC as well as who applied and became eligible for MDS courses after revised/reduced NEET PG MDS2020 cut-off can participate in Extended 2nd Online Round, except the candidates, who have secured and joined admission in 50% AIQ/ Deemed/ Central Universities/AFMC (MD/ MS/ Diploma and MDS seats or DNB seats or seats of other state) counseling.

3. The allotment of Extended 2nd Online Round will be considered final.

4. The candidate, who will participate in the Extended 2nd Online Round and allotted new admission or his/her admission got upgraded, has to report Help Center for confirmation of admission.

5. The choices filled in extended 2nd online round of counseling will considered final and no change will be allowed for a future round of admission. If required ACPPGMEC will conduct a further round of counseling on the basis of choice filled in extended 2nd round.

6. In regard to points no. 3, 4 and 5, all the candidates are instructed to do Online Choice Filling for Extended 2nd Online Round very carefully.

7. The candidates, who want to participate in the Extended 2nd Online Round, have to give ONLINE CONSENT for participation in Extended 2nd Online Round, otherwise, the candidate will not be considered during the allotment process.

8. To participate in the Extended 2nd Online Round, the candidates have to log-in in the website www.medadmgujarat.org using their User-ID and Password to give ONLINE CONSENT for participation in that round.

9. The seats available for admissions in the previous rounds, according to the student's merit, will not be available in any subsequent rounds. Please see the Last Rank of Result of Previous Rounds on the website: www.medadmgujarat.org. 

10. The candidates can change/swap/add/delete their filled choices of the previous round.

11. If the candidates, who have confirmed the admission of previous round and have given consent to participate in Extended 2nd Online Round, have been allotted any new different seat (upgradation of admission), the confirmed admission of the previous round will get automatically cancelled.

12. If the admission of the candidate is upgraded to the new seat, the candidate has to take print of allotment order of Extended 2nd Online Round and report to nearby help center to get new admission order. In case, the candidate doesn't report to help center within the stipulated time, new allotted admission will get cancelled. Hence in this scenario, candidate does not have admission on any seat.

13. If the candidates, who have confirmed the admission of previous round and have given consent to participate in Extended 2nd Online Round, have not been allotted any new different seat, the admission of previous round will be continued and no need to report at Help center.
