ACPPGMEC releases schedule, instructions for MD, MS, MDS 3rd round, Mop Up counselling

Ahmedabad: Through recent notifications, the ACPPGMEC has released the instructions for 3rd round PG medical counselling along with the schedule and instructions for mop-up round for MDS courses.

All the concerned candidates are requested to view the said details as mentioned below: 

Schedule for Mop-Up (Offline) Round of Counseling for MDS Courses only

Those students, who have given online consent for Mop-Up Round, will be allowed to participate in the mop-up round.

Instructions for MOP-UP (Offline) Round of Counselling(For Dental PG Course-MDS Only)

1. In view of ongoing COVID- 19 outbreak and in compliance with the advisory issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and instructions from Government of Gujarat, ACPPGMEC is going to organize Mop-Up Round for Admission in Dental PG Courses through Video Conferencing at GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar and 06 (six) Govt. Medical Colleges for this academic year (2020-21) only.
2. All the candidates who are included in the Merit-list of ACPPGMEC as well as who applied and became eligible for MDS courses after revised/reduced NEET MDS -2020 cut-off can participate in Mop-Up Round, except the candidates, who have secured and joined admission in 50% AIQ/ Deemed/ Central Universities (MDS seats of other state) counseling.
3. It is mandatory for all the candidates, who want to participate in the mop-up (offline) round, to give ONLINE CONSENT for participation in the mop-up round.
4. The candidate can take part in the mop-up round without cancelling his admission of the previous rounds.
5. To participate in the mop-up round, the candidates have to log-in in the website http://medadmgujarat.org/pg/home.aspx using their User-ID and Password to give ONLINE CONSENT from 18-07-2020 at 6:00 pm to 20-07-2020 at 12.00 noon only.
6. Candidate can select the Help Center (as mentioned above) for participating in Mop-Up Round at the time of consent.
7. The student, who has not given online consent during stipulated time, will not be allowed to participate in the mop-up round in any circumstances.
8. After giving consent students have to take a printout of "Consent/Choice Form" available in "Choice Details", which shows the date and time of consent given by him/her along with a place for Mop-Up Round.
9. Candidate has to remain present as per the merit rank on allotted date and time at
his/her Selected Help Center
. The candidate is instructed to bring copy of "Consent/Choice Form" at the time of offline counseling.
10. All the candidates are instructed to see the number of vacant seats available for Mop-up round and closure of previous round. The admission committee shall allot the seats as per available vacancy and also vacancy arise due to the cascading effect of that particular seats.
11. The candidates will be called as per the merit rank and will be allotted the admission on vacant seats as well as a vacancy arises due to up-gradation of seats during counseling. During mop-up round of counseling, the candidate will be offered a seat as per the previous closure, vacancy and merit rank. If he is not willing to take admission in the offered seat, he can refuse the admission. In such a case, his/her previous admission will remain as it is. If the candidate wants to cancel his/her admission of the previous round, he/she can cancel it at the time of his/her mop-up round of counseling. Tuition fees will be refunded at the end of the whole admission process.

12. The candidate, who have cancelled his/her admission of previous rounds or coming for fresh admission, are required to bring the following original documents at the time of counseling.

a) All year BDS attempt-wise mark sheets
b) 12 months internship completion certificate (8 months internship completion certificate will not be valid for confirmation of admission)
c) Copy of current academic year NEET-PG-2020 Marksheet
d) Provisional Registration of State Dental Council OR Dental Council of India (In case of fresh candidates only who have just completed their internship)/Permanent Registration of State Dental Council OR Dental Council of India (In case of old pass out candidates) OR Receipt, if applied for Registration
e) Document showing the place of birth & Date of Birth & Indian Citizenship (School leaving Certificate/ Transfer Certificate/ Passport/ Birth Certificate)
f) For SEBC, ST and SC Category: Caste certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only
g) For SEBC Category: Non-creamy layer certificate (Parishistha '4' in Gujarati/English) issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only
h) For EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) Category: EWS certificate issued by Competent Authorities of Gujarat State only
i) Copy of Passport - if Citizenship is Dual/ Foreign
j) Photo Copy of Disability Certificate issued by the Competent Authority
13. The candidate, who have taken admission in the previous round of ACPPGMEC, have to bring original admission order of ACPPGMEC and receipt of paid tuition fees.
14. The candidate, without original documents and prescribed fees, will not be granted admission under any circumstances.
15. The candidate has to pay tuition fees/difference in tuition fees of one term (six months) by cash / Demand Draft in favor of
"ACPPGMEC"
payable at Gandhinagar at bank facility provided by Admission Committee, immediately. If the candidate has paid tuition fees for admission for previous rounds, fees will be adjusted according to it. Excess fees will be refunded at the end of the whole admission process.
16. In view of the ongoing COVID- 19 outbreak, all the candidates are advised to pay tuition fees, preferably, by Demand Draft.
17. The candidates are advised to come with a specific arrangement of money to pay tuition fees at the time of counseling. The tuition fees of Govt. colleges are minimal, which can be paid by cash/DD, while the maximum fee is Rs. 10,00,000 (10 lakh)(for one term) for the Management Quota seat of MDS- Orthodontics at Dharamsinh Desai Institute of Dental Sciences, Nadiad. So, the candidate can come with Demand Drafts of Rs. 1,00,000/ 2,00,000/ 3,00,000/ 5,00,000/ 10,00,000 based on your choice of subject and college to secure admission in self-financed colleges.
18. The candidate, who will remain absent at the day and time of counseling allotted to them, will have no right for admission.
19. The detailed schedule of Mop-Up round (with date, time and merit no.) will be displayed on the websites (www.medadmgujarat.org) very soon.

Important Instructions For 3rd Online Round [For Medical PG Courses – MD-MS-Diploma Only]

[Due to Revised Result of NEET-PG-2020] 

1. In view of Revised Result of NEET-PG-2020 as well as ongoing COVID- 19 outbreak and in compliance with the advisory issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and instructions from Government of Gujarat, ACPPGMEC is going to organize 3rd Online Round for Admission in Medical PG Courses for this academic year (2020-21) only.

2. All the candidates who are included in the Merit-list of ACPPGMEC as well as who applied and became eligible for MD/MS/Diploma courses after revised/reduced NEET PG -2020 cut-off can participate in 3rd Online Round, except the candidates, who have secured and joined admission in 50% AIQ/ Deemed/ Central Universities/AFMC (MD/ MS/ Diploma and DNB seats or seats of other state) counseling.
3. The candidate, who will participate in the 3rd Online Round and allotted new admission or his/her admission got upgraded, has to report Help Center for confirmation of admission.
4. Candidate, who is satisfied with the admitted seat and doesn't want to change his/her admission, must not give consent.
5. To participate in the mop-up round, the candidates have to log-in in the website http://medadmgujarat.org/pg/home.aspx using their User-ID and Password to give ONLINE CONSENT from 18-07-2020 at 04:00 pm to 20-07-2020 at 12.00 noon only, otherwise, the candidate will not be considered during the allotment process. The candidate himself or authorized person (authority letter available on www.medadmgujarat.org) with original documents and required fees can remain present at the selected help center.
6. The seats available for admissions in the previous rounds, according to the student's merit, will not be available in any subsequent rounds. Please see the Last Rank of Result of Previous Rounds on the website: www.medadmgujarat.org.
7. The candidates can change/swap/add/delete their filled choices of the previous round.
8. If the candidates, who have confirmed the admission of previous round and have given consent to participate in 3rd Online Round, have been allotted any new different 
seat (up-gradation of admission), the confirmed admission of the previous round will 
get automatically cancelled.

9. If the admission of the candidate is upgraded to the new seat, the candidate has to take print of allotment order of 3rd Online Round and report to nearby help center to get new admission order. In case, the candidate doesn't report to help center within the stipulated time, new allotted admission will get cancelled. Hence in this scenario, the candidate does not have admission on any seat.

10. If the candidates, who have confirmed the admission of previous round and have given consent to participate in 3rd Online Round, have not been allotted any new different seat, the admission of previous round will be continued and no need to report at Help center.

NON-REPORTED CANDIDATE LIST - EXTENDED 2nd ONLINE ROUND

Procedure for Admission Cancellation 

 The candidates, who have confirmed their admission after submitting the original documents at the Help Center, want to cancel the admission, they will have to go to the admission reported Help Center, in person.
 The admission can be cancelled from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm on 20.07.2020.
 The same seat will not be available to such candidate for the subsequent round of admission but candidates can take part in a subsequent round of counseling.
 If a candidate cannot come for some reason, the parents/representatives must bring the "Authority Letter" signed by the candidate to Help Center. Without Authority Letter, parents/ representatives won't be able to collect the documents. Authority letter is available on page 2 of this document.
 The candidates have to submit the following documents and then can collect the original documents.
o Original admission order of ACPPGMEC
o Self-attested Xerox-copy of Allotment Letter of All India Quota/ Deemed/ Central Universities / DNB/ Other State Counseling OR application of cancellation if not admitted anywhere
o Authority letter (In case parents/representatives want to collect the documents)

The candidate, who will remain absent for verification of their disability by Medical Board, will have no right for admission under PwD Category.
