Gujarat: Medical officer caught taking bribe of Rs 4000

Ahmedabad: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat police on Friday nabbed a medical officer allegedly taking a bribe from a multipurpose health worker in Sabarkantha district.

Assistant Director of the ACB, D P Chudasama said that MO of Kotada Primary Health Center under Poshina taluka of the district had threatened the health worker saying that he would recommend to end his services and sought bribe from him for not doing so.

The health worker then complained to the Anti Corruption Bureau and then the trap was laid. The medical officer was then nabbed while taking a bribe of Rs 4000 from the healthcare worker
