PG Medical Counselling: ACPPGMEC releases instructions, Procedure for Admission Cancellation

Ahmedabad: The Admission Committee for Professional Post-Graduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPPGMEC) has released the instructions and procedure with regard to admission cancellation for candidates intending to pursue PG medical and dental courses across medical colleges in the state for the academic year 2020-21.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADMISSION CANCELLATION

The candidates, who have confirmed their admission after submitting the original documents at the Help Center, and want to cancel the admission, can cancel their admission by themselves by log-in the admission committee's website from 26/05/2020 to 31/05/2020.

After cancellation admission, candidate has to visit Help Center [where candidate has submitted Original Documents for admission confirmation] for collection of Original Documents during office hours.

PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION CANCELLATION

• The candidates, who have confirmed their admission after submitting the original documents at the Help Center, and want to cancel the admission, can cancel their admission by themselves by log-in the admission committee's website. [Details are mentioned in subsequent pages in this document only (page 2 – 6).]

• The same seat will not be available to such candidate for subsequent round of admission but candidates can take part in subsequent round of counseling.

• After cancellation admission, candidate has to visit Help Center [where candidate has submitted Original Documents for admission confirmation] for collection of Original Documents with following documents:

 Admission Cancellation Order [generated by candidate from his/her admission module

 Original admission order of ACPPGMEC

 Self-attested Photocopy of Allotment Letter of All India Quota/ Deemed/ Central Universities / Other State Counseling OR application of cancellation if not admitted anywhere

 Photocopy of ID Proof - Xerox copy

 Authority letter with ID Proof of Authorized Person (In case parents/representatives want to collect the documents)

• If candidate cannot come for some reason for collection of their Original Documents from Help Center, the parents/representatives must bring the "Authority Letter" signed by candidate to Help Center. Without Authority Letter, parents/ representatives won't be able to collect the documents. Authority letter is available on the page 7 of this document.

• The paid fees will be refunded after completion of whole admission process.

• Visit the website www.medadmgujarat.org.

• Click "Post Graduate Medical, Dental Admission". New window will appear on the computer screen

• Click "Log-in for Post-Graduate Medical / Dental Admission" button. New window will appear on the computer screen.

• Click on "Candidate Registration/Login". New window will appear on the computer screen.

• Enter your USER ID (SR NO. of PIN), Password, 14 Digit PIN, Captcha & Click on Submit button. New window will appear on the computer screen.

• Click on "RESULT". The option of 'CANCEL ADMISSION' will be displayed.

• Click on 'CANCEL ADMISSION' to cancel your admission. Your admission details will appear on the computer screen.

• Box 1: Click on check-box for 'Cancel Admission?'.

• Box 2: Enter 14-digit PIN.

• Box 3: Click on button for 'Cancel Admission'.

• New window will appear on the computer screen.

• Enter the OTP (OTP will be sent on registered mobile number).

• Click on button for ' CANCEL ADMISSION'. [THIS IS THE LAST STEP FOR ADMISSION CANCELLATION.]

• New window will appear on the computer screen.

• Click on the 'Print' to take print-out of Admission Cancellation Order.
