Jammu - A lady doctor, who slipped into River Chenab, was rescued by local divers in the Akhnoor area on the outskirts of the city.
Police said a 36-year-old lady doctor, who was posted in Ambran, slipped into the river at Jiva Pots Ghat.
The local divers on seeing her, raised alarm and jumped into the water and rescued her.
"The lady was rushed to the hospital and her condition is stated to be stable," police said.
