Beefed with medicos, man steals laptop from Kannur medical college hostel to exact old revenge, held
Kannur: A man hailing from Tamil Nadu, who had a bone to pick with medicos was arrested once again for stealing the laptop of a PG medical student in Kannur medical college hostel.
The accused, a 25-year old man had earlier avenged the cyberbullying of his girlfriend by some medical students in Chennai, who had allegedly recorded an objectionable video of the girl and made it viral. The man had stolen at least 500 laptops from several medical college hostels across the country since 2015 to take revenge on them. He soon started stealing laptops of medical students to mentally harass them and developed this as a habit.

This time the accused travelled to Kannur via train on May 28 and broke into the hostel room on the eighth floor. He stole the laptop the Rs 40,000 which belonged to a medical PG student. The medico was not in her room as she was visiting her parents when the robbery took place, reports Mathrubhumi.
