Palakkad: 19-year-old first-year MBBS student hangs self

Palakkad: In an unfortunate incident, Police found a hanging dead body of a first-year medical student of Palakkad Medical College on Tuesday in his own house.

The deceased has been identified as Ashwini aged 19, a resident of Sreekrishnapuram in Palakkad. As per the statement of his family members, he seemed happy till Monday night, after which he committed suicide the other day.

The reason behind his suicide is still unknown. Aswin was an intelligent student who performed well in the medical entrance exam.

Kaumudi reports that police did not recover any suicide note from the scene. A case has been registered and the investigation is underway..

No suicide note was found from the spot. So far, no reason has been revealed in the investigation which could be attributed to the suicide. The student used to stay at Kolar, and had come to his friend's house on Saturday, where he had allegedly hung himself. The family members did reveal any reason for the suicide of the boy.
