Indore: Over 115 nursing students from Government Nursing College have raised concerns over the delay in their job postings, and recently approached the Dean of MGM Medical College to address the issue. Further expressing their frustration over the delay, the students have filed a complaint with the health minister urging intervention.
These aggrieved students, who were admitted to the course in the academic year 2018-19, completed their four-year B.Sc Nursing contractual (bonded) program at Government Nursing College by 2022-23, with examination results duly declared.
According to the terms of their admission, upon completion of their training, they would be appointed as nursing officers. However, despite the passage of six to eight months since the completion of their course, none of the students have received their appointments.
According to the Free Press Journal, the students approached the Dean of MGM Medical College but after the discussion, he claimed a lack of available vacancies.
