New committee of IMA Indore takes charge under leadership of Dr Anil Bhadoria

Indore: Taking over the charge as the new President of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Indore Chapter, Dr Anil Bhadoria stated that IMA will become a think tank to ensure ethical medical practice all over the state. 

Seven doctors were also felicitated during the programme for their commendable work in serving society as well as the association. 

The newly elected committee of the Indian Medical Association-Indore chapter took charge under the leadership of Dr Anil Bhadoria for one this session during the annual conference. 

Dr. Vallabh Mundra and Dr. Jai Paryani have been elected as the Vice president, Dr. Vijay Harlalka has been posted as the Secretary, and Dr. Rajkumar Sisodia and Dr. Pramod Jain have been appointed as Joint-secretary. Moreover, Dr. Manoj Bansal has been elected as clinical secretary and Dr. Rakesh Jain has been appointed as the editor and there are 10 other executives are also appointed for the smooth running of IMA Indore. 

Dr. Vivek Joshi has been elected as the Joint Director and Dr. Dheeren Gupta will serve as the Joint Secretary of IMA College of General Practitioners.

Talking to Medical Dialogues, Dr Anil Bhadoria stated, " It is a great honour to serve as the President of such a prestigious association which has more than 2600 doctors under its wings. I have been a part of IMA since 1994. I have already served as a secretary on the local level as well as the state level. I have also acted as IMA's Vice President on a local level. I have also served in IMA National Committees like sport committee and I organized events like IMA Olympics in Nasik where almost 11000 people participated." 

When asked about his vision for IMA Indore's action plan, he stated," I want IMA to become a think tank to ensure ethical medical practice. We need to come up with strategies to minimize unethical medical practices and the nuisance of quacks. I want to express my gratitude to doctors like Dr Ketan and Dr Ved Prakash who had been there to discuss any problems. While taking charge as the President, I am very happy to say that IMA has introduced some special awards this year and many doctors have been awarded in the annual program due to their dedication and contribution in the medical field."
