Mumbai: The Maharashtra government has handed over the missing case of third year MBBS student of government-run Grant Medical College (GMC) or JJ Hospital to the crime branch for further investigation.
According to a recent media report in the Times of India, the move was announced by the Minister of State for Home Satej Patil in the Legislative Council on Thursday.
After leaving her home in Boisar, the 22 year old medico had gone missing on her way to the college to appear for an internal preliminary examination on November 29. Consequently, a missing persons complaint was registered at the Boisar police station.
