3rd-year MBBS student goes missing on her way to Grant Medical College, search on
Mumbai: A third year MBBS student studying at the government-run Grant Medical College (GMC), also known as JJ hospital, has been missing since Monday.
According to a media report in The Indian Express, the police stated that the 22 year old left her home in Boisar to go for an internal preliminary examination but she did not reach the college.

Subsequently, a missing persons complaint was filed at the Boisar police station.
The medico was last seen at the Bandra railway station on Monday afternoon.
An officer told The Indian Express, "Now, the Boisar police are questioning her classmates."
Her father, Manish Sane who is a writer, stated, "She always wanted to be a doctor and studied with dedication to get admission in JJ hospital. On Monday morning, while leaving, she told me that she would be back Tuesday evening after giving the last exam. "
She had gone home during the Diwali period and had been taking her online classes since then.
Dattatreya Shinde, SP of Palghar district added that the police officials are trying to trace the missing student.
The Medical Dialogues team had earlier reported a similar incident where a 44 year old doctor who had gone missing from Mohali and was found in the national capital.
