MUHS plans to start for 2 medical colleges, approval awaited

Nashik -  Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has sent a proposal to the government to start Government Post Graduate Medical College and Government Medical College in Nashik and is awaiting approval.

Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Chhagan Bhujbal reviewed the status of these two colleges with Dr Sandeep Gundre, Special Operations Officer, Medical Education and Research Department.

The proposal should be followed up and the necessary matters taken immediately, he said. Former MP Sameer Bhujbal was also present on the occasion.

According to an official press note, Mr Bhujbal, also the Guardian Minister of Nashik, Guardian Minister of Nashik is making continuous efforts to start the institutions in Nashik.

Medical Education Director Dr Tatyarao Lahane has appointed Dr Gundre as the Coordinator for Government Medical College, Nashik.
