Nagpur Doctor cheated of Rs 2 crore by mother-son duo, complaint lodged
Nagpur: A woman working as the director of two medical firms and her son were booked for allegedly duping the company owner of Rs 2 crore in Maharashtra's Nagpur city.
The woman is accused of siphoning off Rs 1.62 crore after selling products of the two firms, and transferring Rs 39 lakh into the account of her son, the Sitabuldi police station official said.
The accused have been identified as 48-year-old Nivedita Dhananjay Kathale and her 28-year-old son Amey Dhananjay Kathale, both residents of Durga Apartment, Rana Pratap Nagar.

They have been booked for cheating and other offenses on the complaint of Dr. Sadanand Thote, who owns the two firms in which the accused woman is director, he added.
It was revealed that the woman was a director of two firms namely Saket Orthopedic Appliances Centre and Saket Ortho Rehab International Pvt Ltd companies situated at Shriwardhan Complex near Panchsheel Talkies Square. After the woman allegedly transferred the money into her son's account, the owner of the two companies came to know of her deed.
