The Free Press Journal reports that the doctor was persuaded by the woman first and both became friends in a short span of time. In order to take his money, the woman invited the doctor into her house with an intention of getting close to the doctor. While the duo was getting intimate, her associates recorded a video of them.
The woman and her associates then started blackmailing the doctor that they would send the video to his wife, relatives and friends. They demanded Rs 9 Lakh from the doctor.
After paying the amount to them, the doctor still received extortion calls from them for more money. Later, he approached the police regarding the matter.
The police registered a case against the trio under 384 (Punishment for extortion) and 120 b (Criminal conspiracy) of Indian Penal Code. Further investigation is underway.
It was revealed that the woman and her associates use this tactic to extort money from the rich men. First, they, would create a bond with the person and then invite him to their place where the woman would perform sexual acts with the person and the associates would record the video through hidden cameras. Later, they would make extortion calls to the victim threatening to circulate the contents among the victimÃs family and friends.
