Mumbai: Two Mumbai-based doctors have recently been booked under the charges of molestation in two separate cases. While one has been booked for allegedly molesting an on duty nurse, the other has been arrested by the police for sexually assaulting a patient.

The incidents took place at Tulinj and Navghar in the Mumbai, police disclosed on Sunday.
As per PTI report, in the first case, a doctor had allegedly inappropriately touched a 19-year-old nurse working in his hospital and also threatened her against disclosing the incident in Tulinj. The doctor has allegedly molested the staff nurse at Aarti Hospital in Nala Sopara. The complainant nurse alleged that she was on night duty on July 23rd when her supervisor allegedly touched her inappropriately.
Moreover, when she objected, the doctor allegedly threatened her. Denying the nurse's allegations, the doctor informed the police that she was spotted sleeping on night duty and when he tried to confront her, she created a scene and came up with the allegations of molestation against the doctor, reports Times Now.
A case under IPC 354, 354 (b), and 506 has been registered against him on Friday, reports ANI. However, the doctor is yet to be arrested. The Tulinj Police officers are investigating the case. Reports further stated that the statement of the doctor is yet to be recorded. Further investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, in the second case, a 50-year-old doctor allegedly molested a woman during treatment in Navghar, an official said, adding the accused doctor was arrested.
Separate cases were registered against the accused doctors under various sections of the Indian Penal Code for outraging the modesty of a woman and criminal intimidation.
