Nagaland gets Centre's nod for its 2nd medical college
Nagaland: The health and family welfare minister, Nagaland S Pangnyu Phom has confirmed that the state has secured a nod from the central government to set up its second medical College.
He also added that the district hospital will be upgraded in order to set up the new government medical college.
Phom thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan for approving the new medical college in Nagaland."Thankful to BJP-led NDA Government under the dynamic & visionary leadership of Honble PM @narendramodi & Union Health Minister @drharshvardhan for approving & sanctioning new Government Medical College by upgrading District Hospital Mon," he tweeted.
