ICMR-RMRC, Fakir Mohan University ink MoU for research in modern biology, public health

Bhubaneswar: Fakir Mohan University, Balasore today signed an MoU with the Regional Medical Research Center (RMRC) of Indian Council Medical Research, Bhubaneswar for cutting edge research in the area of modern biology and public health.

Fakir Mohan University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dinabandhu Sahoo and RMRC Director Sanghamitra Pati signed the agreement at a function here.

Prof Sahoo mentioned that Inter-institutional collaboration is the need of the hour and research can not be done in isolation.

He emphasized that the local problems should be given the topmost research and development priority so that the people of Odisha are benefited.

RMRC Director, Sanghamitra Pati, said the students and faculty members will be hugely benefited through this collaboration which was long overdue and the MoU will benefit all the stakeholders.

The MoU will focus on a joint Ph.D. program in the area of Biotechnology, Life science, Public Health, and other related subjects.
