Vikas Group proposes to set up medical College at Baragarha

Official sources here said 25 acres of land had been acquired by the institute for the proposed medical college.

Bhubaneswar: Vikash Group of Institution today submitted a proposal to the Odisha government to set up a medical College at Baragarha.

Vikash Group of Institution Chairman D Murali Krishna gave the proposal to Health and Family Welfare Minister Naba Kishore Das and secretary P K Mohapatra.

Official sources here said 25 acres of land had been acquired by the institute for the proposed medical college.At present a 150 bedded hospital is operating there.

The institute has targeted to expand the number of beds in the hospital from the present 150 to 300 in next three years and to set up the medical college.
